Eyez of Gray is a songwriting project out of Southern California. A product of the 80’s, I'm influenced by genres as diverse as: adult contemporary, country, hard rock/heavy metal, new wave, pop, progressive rock and show tunes. I've been writing lyrics all of my life, and music for approximately 15 years now. My past includes playing in bands that made appearances at The Whisky and The Roxy in Hollywood, playing drums. Some favorite bands over time have included: The Captain and Tennille, Huey Lewis and the News, Metallica, The Cure, Aerosmith and Rush, in that order. Influences in music would probably most include Journey and The Eagles. Over time, you will see uniqueness in the varied music being produced as well as well as the wide array of subject matter explored in the songs.
Right now it’s all about songwriting. The intention is to release 2 new songs each month and over time you’ll see some real diversity to these tunes, so feel free to enjoy as you please. Keep in mind, purchasing any tunes here or from other artists is your way of supporting them, the handwork that goes into conceptualizing and creating music, and rewarding them for what they have given and meant to you through their music.
